Established in Kobe in 1974. Jazz live restaurant that has continued to support the Japanese jazz scene.

Satin Doll was established in 1974 in Kitano-machi, Kobe, an exotic location.
Later, it moved to Tokyo. We started as the first “live restaurant serving French cuisine” in Tokyo, and have been providing first-class music and fine cuisine with musicians in prestigious locations such as Ginza and Roppongi. Thanks to your support, we are now called a “long-established” restaurant.

Overcoming the Corona Vortex

In 2020, the unprecedented crisis of a new coronavirus swept the world.
The quarantine slowed the economy, and live business activities that involve people in close quarters were the first to be subject to restrictions.
Satendor was no exception, and at one point had to make the decision to close its doors.

However, a group of volunteers who have loved Satin Doll since its establishment decided to keep the restaurant open to continue its DNA of “first-rate music and delicious food,” to give musicians a chance to continue their live performances, and to provide customers with “a special moment”.

Relax in the living room of the mansion and lose yourself in fine jazz.

The floor layout of Satin Doll is 90% sofa seating.
There is no other live music venue where you can relax on a sofa while professionals perform live in front of you.
It is like a West Coast mansion where you can invite top artists and lose yourself in their music…the ultimate in luxury can be experienced in Roppongi.

Access

Three-minute walk from Exit 3 of Roppongi Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and Toei Subway Oedo Line. Enter Imoarai-zaka from Roppongi Crossing and turn right at the first corner. APA Hotel Roppongi Ekimae is on the left, and the Roppongi Green Building is across the street on the 5th floor.
